Heat Pipe Heat Sink for High Power System
A heat pipe is a transport mechanism that moves heat from a heat source to an area where it can be dissipated. Heat pipes do not actually dissipate heat and are therefore incorporated into many different types of heat sinks as assistants. A heat pipe is a copper tube with an internal wick structure that is sealed at both ends and has a small amount of water inside. When heat is applied to the tube, the water boils and turns into a gas, which then flows to the cooler part of the heat pipe, where it condenses back into a liquid. It is the evaporation and condensation of the water that creates the pumping action that moves the water (and the resulting heat) along the pipe.
Stacked Fin is composed of fins that interlock together to form a stacked fin array. This manufacturing process allows engineers to design heat sinks with very high aspect ratios, providing high performing thermal solutions. Stacked fin is welded to heat pipe and copper base.
After the heat pipe heat sink finished assembly, we will run 100% on-line thermal test to ensure the thermal performance.
As a heat sink manufacturer in China, Pioneer Thermal is certified with ISO9001, ISO14001 and TS16949, and has more than 18 years experience in heatpipe assemblies, CNC machining, cold forging heatsinks, cold plate heatsinks, die casting heatsinks, extrusion heatsinks, skived fin heatsinks, stacked fin heatsinks, folded fin heatsinks etc., Pioneer Thermal has own R&D team who can design and run simulation for you if you require design service, or assist your design team to improve the part feasibility from the manufacture point of view (design refine/process optimize/cost reasonable). If you need any heat sink service, please contact Pioneer Thermal.
